PPP 49: The power of meditation, yoga and plants for mastering depression w/ Gus Wood

This week I bring you an incredibly raw and real conversation with Gus Wood about his journey to stepping into his truth, his purpose.

There is a lot of talk about inspiration, motivation and the incredible levels at which humans can thrive and achieve. Over the last little while though, I have really learnt a lot about the human experience and that it is important to talk about the times when we struggle – the dark times.

It is through sharing our vulnerabilities, owning them and reflecting on them that we are able to connect as humans and see the humanity in all of us. Sometimes it’s not exciting, it’s not the sexy stuff but it’s reality. And the beautiful part is that through sharing we can inspire and give people the means and drive to find their truth.

So that’s what this podcast is – it’s a story of dealing with the challenges of depression and how through simple techniques like yoga, meditation, breath and plants Gus was able to face his own reality.
