Easy Green Smoothie

I have completely perfected this smoothie because I literally have it every single day for breakfast. A spinach and kale smoothie is the perfect way to start the day. The best thing though is that you can’t even taste the greens! The sweet bananas take over the flavour making it nice and smooth with the flax and pumpkin seeds bulking it out. I always add in some turmeric as its an amazing anti-inflammatory, some flaxseed for good fats and pumpkin seeds for iron. This is super cheap and easy to make too so if you want to start having smoothie for breakfast like I used to then this is a great place to start!

Ingredients
  • 2 bananas
  • 1-2 cups of spinach
  • ½ kale leaf
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • pinch of tumeric (for inflammation)
  • 4-6 ice cubes
  • 1 cup of water
Instructions
  1. Place all of the ingredients into a blender
  2. Blend for 30 secs to one minute depending on your blender
  3. Add more water for desired thickness
  4. Sprinkle with Cinnamon and Drink!
